From the very day Teddy was born, and until the moment I brought him home at two months old, I made a promise - my very first promise in life. I pledged that I would take care of him, unwaveringly, until the day he left this world. That day arrived in July 2021, when I bid farewell to a friend, a companion, and a cherished family member who had been with me for 14 years and 6 months.

This photograph was taken in the final six months of Teddy's life, a testament to the enduring bond we shared and the promise I had made to him - to be there for him, always and forever.
